"The Adventure of Swingy" is a simple fantasy point- and-click adventure game with different paths to choose from that can affect the gameplay.

Goals:

  • Conversation - The way you speak to the characters you meet on your journey affect the outcome of the current situation you're in.
  • Change of difficulty -  The choices you make affect whether you progress to the story effortlessly or challenging. 
  • Alternate Routes - Each sequence split into other routes that change by your choices
  • Replay Value - The game can be played differently every time you start it up again, whether the player chooses a whole different route, or play it the same but changing it up a bit to see what else would've happened.

Examples:

  • In the first act, you're greeted with a rock and what you do to it affects what will happen afterwards with all choices being significant from each other. 
  • When greeted with a character, should you act casual, flirty, or rude to them? Think about which situation would be best based upon how you speak to the character and how the character speaks to you and with either common sense or thinking outside the box. 
  • Each act end in different ways whether you manage to talk your way into moving on to the next level or having to deal with a puzzle or a boss fight.
  • Replaying it after the first play through allows the player to see what would happen if they choose the other alternatives shown to them, and how the game would change if they were to act and treat the characters differently from their previous play through.
